Chris Nickoloff, a Chicago native with over twenty years of sales and manufacturing experience, has been named Peterson Tool Company’s new Vice President of Sales. He will be responsible for overseeing global sales and a sales force that is in the US, UK, and China.
“We are very excited that Chris will be joining our leadership team at Peterson Tool Company. He has that rare experience in both manufacturing production management as well as an extensive experience in Sales,” said Peterson Tool Company’s President and CEO, Diane Peterson Edwards. “As our worldwide VP of Sales, Chris’ experience will position our company to expand our presence in the custom tool manufacturing market.”
A graduate of Indiana University, Chris began his career in sales as a water treatment salesman for Nalco Chemical Company (now Ecolab) a chemical manufacturer in Chicago, Illinois where he called on large steel mills. Shortly after his twins were born in Chicago, he and his wife (a Nashville native) moved back to Nashville where they have resided for over ten years. After his time at Nalco, Chris transitioned to the financial services industry and went on to sell institutional retirement plans to privately and publicly held companies before being tapped as the Vice President of Safe-T-Cover, a local leading manufacturer of freeze and vandal protective enclosures in Nashville.
“Peterson Tool Company’s people, culture, and quality of work continues to make it the worldwide leader in special cutting tools for over 60 years”, Nickoloff said. “I couldn’t be more excited to lead the sales team and drive the strategic growth and expansion of this great company into the future.”
Chris has always enjoyed giving back to the Nashville community and has served on several Nashville non-profit boards over the years including Habitat for Humanity (Young Leaders Board), Make-A-Wish Foundation (Young Leaders Board), Lupus Foundation of Middle Tennessee (Secretary), The Nashville Ballet (Investment Advisory Board) and currently serves on the Sheridan Road Charitable Foundation Board.
