Thriftshave
is our adjustable - quickchange shave fixture. The adjustments included on
most models are: taper, radial and axial movement and part diameter. It is
delivered with three spring tensions so you can adjust the tool pressure.
Most Thriftshaves are convertible to other positions. An owners manual is
included with each to help with setup and maintenance. Each component is precision
ground to provide the utmost in controlling tight tolerances. On moderately
aged and maintained machines, Thriftshave is capable of holding a tolerance
of 8 microns. New machines can expect better.
