Our Inserts are made from only premium HSS or carbide. We manufacture our inserts with EDM grinders where they are totally submerged in oil. Wire EDM machines produce inserts exposed to eta phase, a state where oxygen attaches to the material and rust begins. Our inserts may receive top rake, secondary clearances and all are polished to extend tool life. They can be coated by one of many combinations of materials. We have our own coating facility that eliminates days waiting on delivery to and from an outside coater. They are packaged securely and shipped safely and quickly.
